How to steer round a crashing economy 

As well as having researched the impact of the global drug trade on the economy with Mike Ruppert, Catherine Austin Fitts also developed a method for judging how well an economy was doing based on other factors within a community. She calls this the Solari index. Together with many other dedicated researchers in the drug economy such as Mike Ruppert, Peter Dale Scott, Gary Webb and frontline journalist Daniel Hopsicker, Fitts worked out that pulling all drug money from legal finance channels would cause a massive crash. This is the reliance of global flows on illicit markets - much of which are state or covert backed.

Thus narcotics funding keeps the global bubble afloat when other mainstays like arms and oil may be affected by local fluctuations. This is a little acknowledged fact - perhaps partially due to the reasons Peter Dale Scott gives in his notion of deep politics -  we collectively repress some information as it is simply too complex to process and questions the whole foundation of a democratized community.
