Jim Sparks - 8 hours of audio interview which accompanies his stunning  book 'The Keepers' in which one of the best contactee cases is documented. Jim Sparks manages 90% recall. In addition to physical gifts Jim was given he also gradually learned to use a new language that the ETI's stated could be a key to liberating our species from the gravity well. Although language and telepathy are fairly common in experiencer cases the interaction with Spark's alien intelligence introduces a whole new dimension. This new mode of communication gradually encourages telepathy as it makes the process of symbolism less abstract. In addition the body is used as an amplifier for holographic frequency generation by synchronising learning to movement.

Once more we have a situation where pulling in information from a wide array of fields and sources helps us to understand the efficacy and possibilities of such a move -  both for the individual human nervous system and on an evolutionary level for the species.  

 If we look at studies of communication, language and symbolism - such as Wittgenstein and merge in the kind of research Terence McKenna [as well as other ethnopsychopharmacologists] we get a better idea of just what the alien presence is trying to do by passing on a new mode of communication for

1. Use in human-human communication
2. Helping to shrink the gap between human-alien communication.

As Mckenna found -  there are tribes in the Amazon basin [and no doubt elsewhere - certainly the Aborigines DreamTime and the Ibogaine using Bwiti from Africa also access this neural technology] that during high trance states communicate telepathically¹.

By using the transmission of symbols, shapes and form and also utilising  the vocal chords to 'buzz' mental imagery into an 'explicit' form, shamans' bypass the linear linguistic grids we are locked into and efficiently send concepts to one another as they sit in their small collectives during trance sessions.

The possibility exists therefore that ETI is attempting to bootstrap the species via:

• Intervention with governments/military [appears to have had limited success]
• Direct intervention genetically
• Indirect intervention through offering a mechanism via which we can bootstrap our communication to a post verbal level.

It would be useful if Jim Spark's next goal was to find the best method for passing on the system of symbol manipulation to others. How efficient this would be is not known because Jim was tutored in an 'alien' environment with some novel kit and strange methods. The fact remains though that our failure as a species to adequately get top grips with otherness or 'alien-ness'  in our lives is a symptom of our inability to communicate generally.

Addiction to static concepts is a flaw along with assuming we can linguistically reduce something like the ETI prescence into an binary language system most of us are all too content with.

¹ It's interesting to mention here the name of tryptamine containing plants and the substance derived from them were called 'telepathine' by early anthropologists. Many people describe language becoming visual in the mind's eye  on substances such as DMT or ibogaine.
